About Me

I am half Japanese and half Filipino, and I grew up speaking both Japanese and Tagalog as my native languages.
Growing up between two cultures taught me that language is much more than just a tool for communication—it is a bridge that connects people, cultures, and hearts.
When we speak in our native language, we can naturally express our thoughts, emotions, and personalities. On the other hand, speaking in a foreign language can sometimes make it difficult to fully express what we truly want to say.
Because of my own experiences, I understand how powerful it is to communicate in a language that feels natural to you. I also understand the challenges and frustrations that come with learning a new language.
Why I Became a Japanese Teacher

Through helping with my mother’s business, I had many opportunities to meet people from different countries and cultural backgrounds.
These experiences showed me how meaningful it is when people can connect through language. I also saw how learning a new language can open doors, create opportunities, and help people discover new possibilities in life.
That inspired me to become a Japanese teacher.
I wanted to help others build confidence, connect with Japanese people, and experience the joy of expressing themselves in Japanese.
My Teaching Style
In my lessons, I go beyond textbooks and focus on practical, natural Japanese that people actually use in everyday life.
My lessons include:
- Japanese for travel
- Real-life conversational Japanese
- Natural expressions used by native speakers
- Japanese culture and customs
I believe that learning a language becomes much more meaningful when you also understand the culture and mindset behind it.
What Matters Most to Me
Creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment is one of my top priorities.
I want my students to feel confident, enjoy the learning process, and discover new opportunities through the Japanese language.
My Mission
To bring smiles, meaningful connections, and new opportunities through the Japanese language. As a Japanese teacher, I hope to share not only the joy of learning Japanese but also the deeper connections that language can create between people.
I would be honored to be part of your Japanese learning journey and help you discover the possibilities that await beyond the language itself. 🌸✨
